Black Magic - capricorn sips with satan’s saturn
Capricorn will pass us all on the road of life. Her’s is a classic tale of tortoise and hare, she being the tortoise. Aries, for one, being the hare. Slow and steady is her mantra. One foot at a time up the steep mountain of life, until she finally reaches the top, just in time to drop dead. But even the hardy goat-fish gets tired, and this is when coffee becomes a magic bean. Late at night, or early in the morning - depending on how much fun she’s having, caffeine becomes one with a shot of vodka. All though it’s ripe scarlet hue belongs to the red planet of Mars, we know coffee, not as beans on a bush, but in our morning cup of joe. or evening cocktail of jane. point is, the coffee bean is no longer red when it reaches our thirsty mouth, but a blackish brown. and it is the cold, dry planet of Saturn who claims that color as her own. meet your maker capricorn. imbibe a bit of black magic.

Sounds yummy! Would fennel seed infused cheap brandy work?
Did you know fennel is a wonderful digestive and great remedy for farts? I have a concoction I call “fart tonic,” made of fennel seed, dandelion root, and yellow dock root tinctures. The fennel is for the farts, and the others help any problems with digestion that may have caused them.
I should call it “sweet relief,” because that’s what it brings.
Thanks for all the great recipes!

oh that’s funny! i guess that’s why the Indian restaurant I go to has a huge dish of fennel seeds for you to grab from as you leave… thanks for the tonic… I’ll have to advise my Cancer friends of it — with their super sensitive gastronomic systems and all!
Well, the infusion of the fennel will work wether or not the brandy is cheap. I found that the cheaper the alcohol, the longer you have to let it sit. But I have never infused brandy. The key it so taste it often and end the infusion when you like the flavor.
I think making this cocktail with the brandy instead of the vodka will totally work. I’m gonna try it out and let you know how it goes…

Yep, that’s why they have it (and other seeds) at the Indian restaurants.
I would have never thought to put fennel and coffee together. Fennel and orange, yes. It’s something to try.
