A Birthday Toast To... Gemini

The lively Lemon Drop is a libation of Gemini. Mercury rules this important cocktail componant due to its astringent properties, light color and smallish size. Making a cocktail without lemon is akin to holding a party without inviting GeminiÐquite dull.

LEMON DROP:>
1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz lemon juice
1 tsp sugar syrup

Shake ingredients over ice and strain into martini glass. Garnish with a twist of GeminiÕs lemon.
