A Birthday Toast To... Taurus

The classic mojito is a libation of Taurus. This is because the seductively fragrant mint plant is ruled by the godess of love herself, Venus (who rules Taurus). Few mortals can resist the refreshing deliciousness that has become America's favorite Cuban beverage. And like Taurus' simple outlook on life, they are so simple to make!!

MOJITO

3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp raw organic sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
seltzer

In glass, muddle mint. Add sugar and lime and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with seltzer.
