Late Winter Newsletter

Dear Peeps,
I'm sure this harsh Russian winter has all of us hitting the vodka pretty hard. I'd lke to credit THE FARMER'S ALMANAC for predicting this winter would be a wicked one! Sorry I've been slacking on the newsletters... life has become hectic for us Zodiacal Intoxicants. When it rains, it pours as they say. (And that would be a heavy pour of 180 proof). Spring is in the air. OK, I wish spring were in the air. But let's pretend... Spring means love, and love means wedding. A Birthday Toast To Aquarius:


Happy birthday to you! Saturn rules the lime, hence the Caipiroska is an Aquarian libation. (Aquarius is co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus).

Caipiroska:
2 Russian Standard Vodka
4 Teaspoons Caster Sugar
1 Lime

Muddle the sugar and limes in the bottom of a tumbler, add crushed ice and Russian Standard Vodka.

Eco Tip For Do-Good Drunks

Boil less water! The next time you boil water for your toddy, fill the teapot with enough water for only one cup. what a revelation! This will save fuel from unneccesarily heating water that won't be used. And that might save a Polar bear or two. Refer to photo source.
